Thank you for your video and thank you for giving glory to God. I too had a vbamc. Three to be exact and without God and the wonderful women He placed around me, I would have been cut again.
This is so inspiring. Thank you so much for telling your story. You showed so much strength. Arguing with them for 3 hours? Yikes! I'm so happy for you that you did stand your ground. Almost like you had to go back to the "place of captivity" and tear down those walls of lies with your big-bad-laboring-self! Our amazing God helped you and you are amazing!
I just saw your from Nebraska, can you private message me the hospital that let you attempt a VBA2C?! I'm in Ohio now, and my OB will let me attempt, but I'm afraid when we do get pregnant we will be moved back there (NE that is). I'm a good candidate for VBA2C, because my OB told me I have a strong uterus! I'm so happy you got the birth you dreamt of! Beautiful family too! :)
Thanks for posting this! I had 2 previous C-sections. Im 35 weeks pregnant and would really like to have this baby normal! This video gives me hope that I can do it, while the doctors I have spoken too told me I havea 0-40% chance of being able to do it and told me that was basically "no chance" I wanted to cry! After watching your video I believe I deserve a shot! Question is will they allow me! WIsh me luck!
I have 2 c-sections before and went through the labor. Now, I am pregnant and wonder if you can have a vaginal birth if you have too many scar tissue. My doctor won't let me have another try for vaginal birth because my previous c-section, my uterus was so close to rupture.
@hmoobhawj1984 You could get a second opinion. How does he know your uterus was close to rupture? I would talk to a midwife or a family doctor and see what they have to say. You would probably be eligable.
wow thanks for postin this gives me hope my son was a emerg cesarean i am 3 months prego now and have a mid wife and pray day and nite i will be blessed to have a natural birth but very happy for your story once again thanks for sharing
WONDERFUL!!!! Congratulations!! I will try my VBA2C (in Italy) and now I Know that i'm not alone!! THANK YOU so much for your story! You are a wonderful Mom!!!
wow this video is so great it made me cry (mostly pregnancy tears) i am glad u were able to push and accomplish a natural birth. i am 7 months and when i found out i was pregnant i was forced to sign a contract stating that if i am less then 7cm and it's going on too long that i MUST have an EMERGANCY C-section. it sucks so now when i go into labor i am going to stay home till my water breaks to make sure they don't say anything about me having a VBAC. anyway, CONGRATS on ur VBAMC!!! ^_^
Your story was truly an insperation! I am 6 months into my 3rd pregnancy and I am fighting like CRAZY to get my VBAC! Both of my C Sections were nothing more than a convenience to my doctors! Neither were emergency! I went on ICAN too, spoke to lawyers, doctors, etc. my doctors excuse to not give me one is "never had a vaginal birth".. we're all strong women and I PRAY that every one of you get what you want because its POSSIBLE! Thank you so much for your story.
Chloegone, have you connected with ICAN in your area? It's international cesarean awareness network, and an online support/info network - if you want to VBAC you can. You can do it. Appointments can be canceled, and have been for repeat c-sections! The women of ICAN will be able to tell you which providers in your area will support you.
I am considering a VBAC, but I've already scheduled a c section, This will be my third one. This is our last child, I would like to at least try vaginal birth one time.
Yes have you connected with an ICAN group or tried to find a midwife who takes VBA2C? You can do it!!! If you need any help email me. I am a chapter leader for ICAN.
This is amazing. It gave me goosebumps and made me want to cry! Happy tears of course! Haha..
I had a c-section with my daighter because my doctor let me choose.. He said after that I made the right decision because my uterus is heart shaped? I really would love to try a vaginal birth the next time around!Congrats. She's beautiful!
I had my VBAC in Nebraska. Its a lot easier to find an OB or midwife after one cesearan than multiple. (I would go with a midwife) Keep searching, it took me til 33 weeks to find one, they are out there!
Ahhh, yet another video to make me cry but give me home. I've had two c/s very similar to your first child's birth. The second time I had no excuse, I knew better, but it still happened. Thank you for helping to educate other women so they hopefully can avoid the unfortunate experiences we went through. Congratulations on your VBA2C! I can only imagine how empowering that feeling was!
Wonderful video! It certainly takes a strong woman to get the chance to have a vbac, let alone a vbamc, these days! It's going in my youtube favorites!
Thank you ssoo much. for posting your journey. I am crying right now. because I went through the fight with my two boys and I am glad that I have found a way to know that it is possible. I can push a baby out and I know I will and when I do I will come back to this video and thank you again! God bless you and your beautiful family. Congrats on that lil girl she is adorable!!!! you are truly blessed.
You have a wonderful video. All I can say is way to go to you for sticking to want YOU wanted to do, and not being talked into something else. Congrats on your baby girl!
