  • Hey ! I got one of these in the original cabinet at a flea market for $15. Works great too, though it will need recapping someday I'm sure- I haven't ever seen another till yours !!!

  • hay whats the album called on the deck ive been looking for it for a long time

  • That's a really nice setup! Even through the camera it sounds really good!

I have the Sony PS-LX2 wich is a smaller model.

  • i used to have one of those phillips valve radio's years ago such a nice sound it had and warm like sound ant that backlit tuning display it had of all the various stations

  • BTW really nice!

  • lol Cool I just seen your picture on Audio Karma.

  • That thing sounds terrific!!

  • THanks for the comments! I wish I could get the kind of bass response on the camera microphone you did with the Akai speaker demonstration. The camera seems to have a somewhat limited frequency response and distorts easily.

  • I bought an external mic for my camera. It was rather expensive (about $100) but the sound quality and stereo sound field is incredible with it.

  • I bet that really sounds grand in person. Nice work!

  • Thanks! It's been a while since I had a working stereo receiver at home, just did not get around to making the repairs till now.

  • Nothing has the right to sound that good. I wish i had a tube receiver.
