dont be fooled, i live in franklin, they only showed the nice part. the area bordering new brunswick is very urban and has a large amount of gang activity
Franklin Township is a very diverse, both culturally and in land use, community with homes currently on the market between $120,000 to $1,265,000. Theses are some of the very reasons I chose to purchase a home and reside here. And, it took the #5 spot of CNN/Money's 100 "Best Places to Live" 2008. How bad can the town be? I, recommend contacting the Franklin Township Police Department for the best information regarding neighborhood crime stats. (Part1)
The tour of ALL the Township will be revealing especially Hamilton and those side streets. But what you want to check is the crime stats for the Township.
Before you invest in 1" of property, start reading The Home New Tribune online everyday
for a few weeks and you will get the whole story...
I wouldn't rely heavily on the Home News to get any story accurate. This is probably why they just had to cut so many jobs. Franklin is a fantastic town. However, as others have stated, this video is not an accurate representation of Franklin Township. This video obviously attempts to cover up the town's multiculturalism. I personally feel that Franklin's diversity is something to be celebrated, not hidden.
Franklin Township's location, availablity of nearby high tech jobs, open spaces, affordable home prices, historical significance and local schools accounts for the #5 spot of 100 "Best Places to Live" 2008.
It's high ranking comes to no surprise to me. You can read why I love living right here in Franklin Township in my reply to "Charmqueen's" question posted on Trulia Voices. Yeaaaaa Franklin!
I refer you back to my original comments. More photos will eventually be added. However, it is NOT a high priority of mine to do this. I will never post pics of the entire township. As Bonshubby287 commented...
"Franklin is being built-up everywhere" and I've already responed that no area of the township has anything to be ashamed of. There are even newer homes built near Franklin Blvd.
Having said that, there will be no further replies from me regarding this subject.
this def. isnt all of franklin....dey need to show wats realy there....i mean all this is here n sum parts of franklin r this beautiful...but there is and always will be another side to Franklin, NJ
im glad you made it clear that this wasnt the ENTIRE town of Franklin because i have lived on both lennox ave AND Hamilton Str and its not so QUIET and PRETTY. i was closer to the old highschool...SHow something we all will remember and can relate to
Too Bad this is NOT the Complete tour of the town. Just what they wanted to show you. They never showed hamilton street or the surrounding area around hamilton street.
No, the tour is not a "complete" tour of the town. More photos are coming and Hamilton Street will be included. While the Hamilton St. section of the town might not be the most upscale, it is a part of Franklin Township.
And, for those who choose to live there and/or
maintain businesses, I don't believe there is anything to be ashamed of. For me, one of the beautiful things about this town is the range of diversity.
very nice, but they missed the ghetto ass halfe

i was just looking at this,
and everyone thats commented on here is saying that these are just the "better" parts of the city... is it really that bad of a city?
