Discovered it on The Roxy UK in 1988. I always thought Glen borrowed from S/A/W but as I read here I am NOT surprised that S/A/W ripped off Glen Goldsmith (LOL)
Just like they did with Colonel Abrams, mind you I am a HUGE PWL fan....
Figures...I was thinking about this today and they have (no pun attended) sampled tons of songs including the ones from Colonel Abrams, The Whispers, Babyface and more. On the side note, I hope that my 12" of "You Got Me Dancing" is still at my parents cottage. If i find it, mind if I share it for listening only for the rest of the world. Thank you for making part of my 3 year experience in England, awesome with this record and "Dreaming" my ultimate favourite. :) Cheers!
@Aaeyren it reminds me of Corfu 1988 too - I actually bought it in one of the Soho dance record shops just before I went and had it on a tape which we played when we were there - i was already into the Acid House by then but we still played a lot of the funky stuff too
Yep !! this was a floor filler if anyone gets the chance go see him when you can he smashes it !
One of the uk's finest .
check out "GO WTH THE FLOW" !Bad tune I found out he did this last year , I had it in my collection since the 90's and didn't know it was Glen . I really thought it was some obscure American tune that no one could get hold of .
it was no 1 for about 14 weeks in the R&B Charts here .
WOW!!!! I really forgot how wicked this was. The base was in your face .... and that sax coming in at the top of the tune was tight.
Then Glen's sweet clean soulful catchy voice comes in and then chorus WOW!! this is still a gem ,,, Very hard to get hold of, some web sites are selling this & dreaming for up to £70 a head , proof of a true classic .I was the first to get hold of this it was so ahead of its time I never heard anything like it
I have this on Vinyl but it has been badly warped and no longer plays properly. I have been trying to get a cd of it - for free - and trust me there are none so yes i am gratefull to whoever posted this.

Did you also know that Glen Goldsmith also penned the massive hit track for Peter Andre entitled "Mystery Girl" ?
