I understand, but he also says that "how can we protect any other rights if we don't protect the right to life", and due to the overwhelming burden this puts on women as opposed to men, I think that position is unfair. If men and women got pregnant equally, I may be more inclined to support.

He never says who's life. I think they should deregulate day after pills. Privacy is also protected under Paul's plan. "Don't ask don't tell" is the best way deal with that issue in my opinion. RP sees abortion as act of violence because of what he has seen as an obgyn. Taking a pill is not an act of violence.

Well...as president,Ron Paul would have no juristition/authority to impose on your baby. His stance is strictly the constitutions,so the states would deal with these issues. Abortion is a VERY touchy subject and I am so saddened that people bash Ron Paul for one issue(not talking about your post),but those that say "He's a Republican,I'm never going to vote for an (R)"or say "Is he pro-choice or pro-life?!!..thats what I thought",then they walk away without letting me rubutte their statement.

Ron Paul might be pro-life but in all reality he would never have a federal mandate on abortion! He is against the federal government and for states rights. Additionally Dr. Paul is more about abortion being illegal during the last two months of pregnancy unless the mother's life is at stake leaving 5-7 months of knowledgeable pregnancy for the woman to choose. Talk about compromise, this guy hit it on the dot!
