Freespin doesn't matter at all. I cake all my bearings with white lithium grease, they freespin for two seconds, if that, and they make ZERO effect on speed. I'm just as fast as all my friends up to ~60KPH (then it's their tuck and shit that makes them faster, but you don't care about that, you ride a popsicle stick).

Also, it's more than possible to put seals onto Bones bearings, as opposed to the crappy shields that they usually use.

I know all the bones bearings, there aren't much of them, they all have rubber shileds, except bones reds ceramics, im not sure about those. I hate bursting my friend's bubbles when they do this, but wheels under load and wheels spinning freely have absolutely no correlation to each other.

That, and by using a rollerblade wheel, you put a lot of the mass on the outside of the wheel, thus making it spin longer than a small wheel.
