to all those that still want to say this is not a rivalry. The players think it is. the fans don't like each other. the teams don't like each other. the better team doesn't always win. it's emotional. the game is national. holiday weekend. look only at the last decade win loss and explain to me then what a rivalry is. oklahoma is gone,face it. love to hate the buffs and embrace the game. pull for colorado to win every game but nebraska and lets get this show on the road! GBR.

Who the hell says this isn't a rivalry? Not attacking you in any sense, but if somebody does believe that, they need to look up the definition of rivalry. This is a rivalry of hatred, games will always be tough.

well the statement "oklahoma is gone,face it" is pointed at the cornheads (of which i am one) who don"t want to let go of the past. The last game of the year , thanksgiving day games, the yearly battle of titans that almost always decided the big eight. The real truth is that Nebraskans don't want to give colorado the satisfaction of using the word rivalry. Rivalry implies some level of tit for tat or equality you see. Truth hurts I guess but on the field this game sure looks like a rivalry :)

I was at the game with my brother. When Nebraska made that 57 yard field goal, I went crazy! I started screaming "He F**king made it, he f**king made it!!!!" while I jumped up and down and threw my arms in the air. I didn't realize till after I said it that I was screaming curse words like that. Needless to say I would be fired if I was a radio announcer for the Huskers.
