I HAVE A BIG QUESTION , i have an IMAC 27 inches totally new, but It doesnt recognize my PANASONIC PV-GS85, and when i try to log and capture footage , IT SAYS there is no communication!...THE FIREWIRE CHORD IS SO NEW!! i used it on another apple computer and it worked.... ALL THE DEVICES ARE PROPERLY SET...But still says no communication!! SO , IS ANY PROBLEM WITH THE FIREWIRE CHORD? or it is just a simple thing THAT nobody sees! HELP ME PLEASE , THANKS!

I've used the old iMovie HD and iMove for a few years and recently bought Final Cut Pro. Boy! is it complicated at first sight. Having said that, I've managed to do quite a few things - all except capture video :) I had to load it into iMovie HD and save it, then drop it onto the viewer because I just couldn't work out how to capture the video, it's less user-friendly than iMovie, but it's a pro-application so I guess you need to get used to what you just showed us. Thanks for your help!

alot do that i use a hard drive camera sometimes we have to render it all and can take alot of time there is no way around it as far as i am aware if you need help on rendering let me know

how can i capture from an Jvc Hdv pro camera cuz i could capture from Dv like live recording but hdv only lets me recored to a tape then to final cut.? .. Nice video

on my camera hdr fx1 theres an option that your camera is outputting at, this means unless i go in to settings it will capture in dv not hd dunno if thats what you mean but hope it helps
