Still don't see how Alvarez got outstruck by a wrestler with heavy hands. That'd be like Cain KO'ing JDS. Or Brock KO'ing Alistair. IMO - Chandler simply got lucky. Wrestlers with heavy hands are one trick pony's - unless they can KO you or stall their way to a decision by lieing in your full guard - then they'll lose.

It was a 4 round slugfest that went back and forth, with the younger Chandler getting the best of the champion, but only to have alvarez come back, only to get tapped early after a heavy shot in the 4th. The competition? Shogun vs. Henderson Only one of the best fights EVER.

They must pay the commentators to be bias, I have never listened to a fight were the fighter who was being DOMINATED was talked up so highly during a fight, the fourth round was a sham commentator wise. And uh....how many times does Alvarez need to be warned about grabbing the cage before he loses a point? He was not even trying to hide it!

@kvd1970 Alvarez never grabbed the fence, he was just putting his hand on it. This isn't soccer, you're allowed to touch the fence, just not grip it with your fingers. The ref was being overly zealous with warnings for something completely legal.

Alvarez was hardly being dominated. He almost got finished twice in round one, but he won round two by a slight margin, and nearly finished Chandler in round three. This was an evenly matched war. I can't wait to see a rematch.
