This is my introduction to Kraftwerk the greatest electronic band ever. Man Machine is an absolute masterpiece, too bad many people done know about this album. This song is my favorite from the album followed by Man Machine and Space Lab. My dad used to put this cassette almost everyday. This album is a drug. Feels so perfect to listen to it after a very long time. Its amazing that an album fron the 70s can still sound so fresh! \m/
Everything about this piece of music is perfect and when the track reaches 3.13 minutes in duration and then goes into the instrumental part where it`s just the punchy electronic rhythm and warm hypnotic synths playing for almost 6 minutes, well that`s one of the most perfect moments in music.
muso purists of the time hated the likes of Kraftwerk for their use of synthesised sounds. For me this northern European music strikes a cord deep down that the 'blues' americana wanabee bands never did.
