  • tmac- sad, he had soo much talent...

  • Comment removed

  • T-mac sent me here...........lololol

  • Man iremember wen my Houston Rockets signed him, he was the best player there besidez Yao and Brooks, also Artest was there, after they lost Tmac even doe he always was gettin hurt that past Rocket seasons once they got rid of him, Artest, and Brooks ithought, ''their system is dead'', but oh well, like a comment above says ''to bad injuries exist''...now my Rockets are sufferin believe it or not, it will take a while b4 we make a name for ourselves...

  • I remember when they dedicated the Auburndale high school gym to him. The T-MAC gymnasium.

  • if God didn't play NBA Live with injuries.......

  • fuck college its about $

  • i remember watching this on espn classic

  • 1:40 hes wearing kobe's. lol siick

  • too bad he never get his big dream.

  • Look for the people who are dissapointed with T-mac not playing the way he used to...WAKE UP!!! players get older and age and have re-occuring nagging injuries that plague them till the end of their career. T-mac was one of the most prolific scorers in his prime, HE STARTED PLAYING IN 1997 thats over 13 years ago...he has a lot of miles in those legs and plays older then his age due to this. During his prime dude was a top 5 player in offense and defense..prob one of the greatest talents ever

  • @dixie11 Yea ur so right on this one and T-Mac has always been my second best player and still is....But defense? c'mooooon man lol everybody knows that was his weakness was always defense and later in his career he became injury prone...but yea injuries are part of the game and T-Mac has more talent than Lebron and Wade straight up

  • @lilzack24 lol maybe i overspoke a bit about his defense being in the top 5, i think T-mac with his physical tools when he wanted played good defense due to his athletic ability and wingspan, but ya overall that was an area he didnt consistently show up in..i think tracy talent wise was right up there with the best players to ever play the game..it might have been his drive/desire that was lacking in the long run and of course those career depleting injuries

  • @dixie11 Yea ur on point with that....everybody knows T-Mac was as talented as anyone in NBA history but he just have the heart and to me he is just one of those players that just played for money...He just wasnt hungry enough...Carmelo Anthony will be the next T-Mac is he keeps playin like this

  • whoever says that tracy mcgrady couldnt play defense at his prime, has either never seen him play...or is riding kobe or lebrons dick. cmon stop being biased and be real. theres a reason tmac was arguably the best player in the league with kobe as his rival. im not saying hes a better defender than kobe. but his defense was definitely above average.

  • i think he made the right choice

  • TMAC is one of those players that was never under good hands. He never had a good coach to guide him. He never had good role players to assist him.

    It's too late now.

He had a decent run as good player even though he never passed the first round playing on the court.

  • this is good. this a rare video

  • looking back at tape he was certainly better than kobe, i guess mac daddy was just too much of a mac daddy

  • @Bwayneallday He was never better than Kobe Bryant, two sides of the court. He never played defense.

  • @MrProphet1978 Really? Then check out his stats from 1998-2006, see how many blocks he averaged! Plus, how huge advantage he had because of his long arms. He was literally towering over those little SGs! Or better watch some games and see for yourself. :)

  • @BMACPOLAND1 Enough with the stats John Hollinger, stats never tell the full story. Kobe Bryant is walking around with 5 rings and numerous all defense teams, MVP's I could go on and on. Check out Fat Lever's stats from the 80's stop being a stat whore.

  • @MrProphet1978 Dear MrProphet are you NUTS? Now you come up with comparing all this thing to the rings?! Of course kobe has 5 but we're talking about defense, not rings. Make your opinion more clear, okay? I can agree that t-mac wasn't Shane Battier but seriously, are you suggestsing that he Kobe was a better DEFENDER? Yeah, right... They both were the best players in the league in lets say 2001-2006, played good D but t-mac was slightly better :) To make you happy, kobe was better after 2006.

  • @BMACPOLAND1 You lost all credability TMAC has never, ever been a good defender. TMAC is that era's George Gervin and Dominique Wilkins c'mon your not seriously thinking he was ever a better or as good a defender as Kobe. Kobe even this year in the playoffs was able to guard Westbrook and Rondo (Old Kobe mind you), TMAC in his prime would never be able to do that.

  • @MrProphet1978 Was able to guard Westbrook and Rondo. First one averaged like what? 20 pts per game in that series??? And the second one triple double numbers. Give me a break. I will never say that kobe was a better defender. T-Mac wasn't neither 'a star stopper ' nor David Lee. The same as Kobe. I watched both players when I was young and I would never say that Kobe is better on a defensive end. Anyway you should check some Raptors and Magic and see for yourself cuz I see some shortages.

  • @MrProphet1978 no your wrong there was a window in time where he was better at scoring, even at houston, but lets face it defence wasnt rlly t-macs cup of tea, he wasa more about the boats and hoes, and no kobe has never been no ever should be compared to michael, look at michaels games in the 80s, you will shit your pants

  • LOL at some caption by google.xD

  • tmac should take a look at this and take some inspiration for his final effort to take a ring....

i am a huge t-mac fan but i am very upset that i see him that he dont even try.......

i hope he returns to his elite status next year....... i know he is still rehabing from he injury but at least give as, ur fans , some hope that u will return next year

  • @MuRdErFoRLiFe77 me too, i hope he gets back to the elite status....the nba needs a really exciting player like him.

  • who did he say his favorite basketball player is?

  • awesome vid. is there a part 2?

  • and that 9th pick turned out to be a multiple time all star, 2 time scoring champ and one of the most complete players to play the game, a man who was sometime considered to be THE best in the league over Kobe. Too bad injuries exist.

  • @GoldenSuperJP Yea but Injuries are part of the game...and Plus T-Mac was never really considered better than Kobe but they were always compared kinda like how Kobe and Lebron are compared today....But from early 2000 it was Kobe, AI, T-Mac and Vince were the best wing players from those dayz...only Kobe is still legit so give the man his credit

  • the ratio between passion/love for the game and business/money/lottery pick is very telling

  • He made the right decision because he was just so talented!

    Born and made to ball!
