Although there are some Clergies who use religion to deceive and give religion a bad name, there are others Clergies who support different activities around the world like food banks and work directly with the communities to overcome poverty and injustice motivated by God's love for all people regardless of race, religion, gender or ethnicity.

Some focus on the hungry, others on children, and others work with the homeless. An excellent example of a Christian charity organizations are Compassion International and Human Habitat that developes new infrastructures in communities in need all over the world. They aren't goverment-funded so unfortunately they need to ask for money to support these activities.
