@MASKOAA - If you are using normal un-treated water then you might have to change it that often. The Koolance liquid that I got comes with both anti-corrosion and anti-fungal/bacteria additives mixed in. Says on the Koolance bottle it only needs to be changed every 2-3 years, but I plan to do it about every year. If you are going to water cool your PC, I suggest getting some good quality liquid coolant like what I got from Koolance. Remember to put the drain valve at the bottom of your loop!
