  • These guys use way too much force and no where near enough control.

  • does ANYONE whats the music used in this vid????

    TELL US :P

  • Georgii Zantaraia <3

  • whats the music its awesome

  • Awesome

  • 1:25. oh my god!

  • Wow. That first guy had the most insane unibrow.

  • 1:13 is freaking amazing .

the one thing that scares me about judo is landing on my head.

  • @Groundeyes I have broken my collarbone twice and broken a bunch of fingers in judo. It is worth the risk of injury.

  • @booboo481

I just went to my first judo session yesterday, its really fun.

I understand what you mean but my worry is landing on my head and breaking my neck isn't really a worthy risk.

  • @Groundeyes In my 10 years in judo,I have never had injury apart from bruises.

Learn to breakfall properly and you are going to be fine.

  • the song name pls

  • JUDO encompasses everything, indeed: The Art, the Philosophy, the Sport, the Strength. It teaches self-respect, self-confidence. How to react swift to changes; it teaches balance, enhances reflexes, control, and how to defend oneself effectively against potential assailants by ending the fight hard and fast.

  • JUDO POWER!

  • HI, good vid love it :) can I ask what the technique is at 1:40

  • @JudoBug1993 its ashi gatame

  • did tou see the ogoshi

  • Who knows which are the fighters in the choke techniques at 1:35 & 1:45 ?

    Competition ?

  • i hate when the video ends

  • The problem with this tournament/olympic style judo is that breaking the momentum AFTER the throw is not emphasized. That can leave you on the bottom...a bad habit.

For self defense, stick to judo as taught by the founder Grand Master Kano Jigoro.

  • @holidayrap Judo is and has never been for self-defense.

  • @Essen68 You don't know what youre talking about. Go to a judo dojo and talk smack like that you'll get laughed at and probably thrown or choked for good measure...then you'll know whether judo is for self defense or not.

  • @holidayrap Really? I have been practicing judo for over 35 years including one at Waseda University under the supervision of Osawa (10th Dan) and Sensei Onosawa. During these years, I have never trained in situations, or heard anyone explain or show how to avoid being stabbed, clubbed or kicked, where I get attacked. Have you?

  • @Essen68 Yes I have. 35 years!? Get a new school.

  • @Essen68 its called Kata, i learned some in the first weeks of my training, get a clue

  • @lllcmanlll Try do kata in a street fight and then we'll talk. Check out: LIVING COLOUR - Jim Carey-Karate Instructor @ 2:20.

  • h;b

  • Shame the music in Fighting Films is always so terrible...

  • @maxxonpower That's what you think my friend,a Judoka doesn't need to throw you like that on street fights,he will just break your arm & your done with your carrier as MMA fighter. This is JUDO the sport itself,so doesn't matter how you land,as long as you don't hurt yourself & you win/get a point. On streets Judokas will obv punch & kick too and get to Judo as soon they get the chance.

  • .com/watch?v=rKuMITjSeog

  • @LastInWar

The Olympic judo has nothing to do with the traditional judo. The judo includes a series of mortal attacks . strangulations, suffocations,. .. all the "atemi waza": "Ashi-ate-waza" striking leg techniques .."Ude-Ate-waza": arm striking techniques. there are techniques that affecting vital points. judo is an excellent sport for self-defense..if you go on the floor in the street. If you are lucky enough to go home the next day ..you will tell your friends of a very bad experience

  • @maxxonpower Bro, get thrown by that throw in real life on concrete. You lose. It dosnt matter if you have their back, because you just broke yours.

  • Zantaraias osoto is a magnificent

  • I cna't stand and watch since i have to go and train it every monday wednesday and friday but do they do ura nage here

  • yeah it´s cool, wanna see it raw? watch mma fights

  • I'm sorry, is the guy at 1:58 has Master Card logo on his gi? WTF???

  • love it!!!

  • @daddyoyou2 - a submission *is* an ippon

  • 4 people got beat up by judokas

  • why do you say 101 ippons? some are strangle hold and other clampholds

  • @daddyoyou2

In Judo An Ippon is required to win, there are a few different ways of getting an Ippon

    - A Good Clean Throw

    - Any Combiantion of 2 Wazaris ( 1/2 Points Either By Clean throw or Pinning for a 20 seconds IIRC )

    - Pinning for 25 seconds Opponent must be on their back in a hold.

    - Any Submission, Strangle / Arm Bars only.

  • Very nice, only Jiu-Jitsu is more fun ^^

  • i well so goog

  • 0:1

  • There is no better sport in the world, definitely! :))

  • @mrredboki17 Freakin love Judo man.

  • @mrredboki17

there ARE better sports than judo

  • @sg12nk34 nope

  • @crossfire1129

    of course there are.

  • Judo is such a beautiful and effective martial art. It deserves to be Olympic so much.

  • @xaven1978 It is an Olympic sport, and has been, for ages.

  • @xaven1978 it is

  • @xaven1978 Honestly I hate what the Olympics have done to Judo. It's being watered down to please people. No more leg attacks, even though they're effective. Limited time to work the ground game, even though it is just as complex and technical as the stand up. So sad.

  • @TheTerrorUforgot That might be true. But look at other Martial Arts, i.e. Karate, where I come from. It has become a mix of good old styles with excellent athletes and really weird organizations. Most organizations do their own thing, create more "styles" and split up to even more organizations. Look at the McDojos of the world, it's a shame! Judo did and does it better and athletes from other martial arts are a bit jealous, even if there are problems and weird decisions resp. Olympic rules...

  • @xaven1978 I'm not worried about how Judo stacks up to watered-down karate/kungfu/taekwondo ("McDojos" as you call them). I'm worried about how it is weakening compared to our fellow grappling arts, namely our cousins Sambo and BJJ.

  • @xaven1978 thats why it is olympic.

im going to see it at 2012

  • love my judo 40 wonderful years of it :-)

  • 2:02: If these guys are making a painful sound when they land, it must be nasty!

  • this video reminds me how good i was in first grade and what thin week loser i am today (15

  • @AVIV222 What the hell does that even mean?
