Shutterfly looks difficult to ride, but has a very good bascule and is very bold off take off, but I mean wow. Look at his bascule over the second in the triple.

The horse Mary Porter is riding, it seems to be straining against the bit and pulling upwards. Almost as if it doesn't want to jump... any explanation?

some horses pull on the bit... but these horses are breed to jump so they live for it and yeah a horse that doesnt want to jump wouldnt be at this level

i think it is too much on the muscle and all the other horses jumped that line in a 4 and it went for the 3...but when it went to jump, Mary leaned up and the horse panicked and refused

If it was too much on the muscle, then none of the horses would do it. That horse only refused because it got the wrong striding. None of what you are syaing makes any sense whatsoever.

When training for showjumping, you want to feel as if the horse is "pulling" you to the jump.

Its not that it doesn't want to jump, if anything it's a beautifully trained and eager jumper

i had put so much effort into matching the video with the music, and all of that was wasted. now i have some wierd music with it, but it actually still goes well

Shutterfly and Flexible are two abolutely amazing horses I think. And Shutterfly seems to just have the natural talent for showjumping.... The gray horse in the beginning I did not recognize, but it really didnt seem like he was ready for this.

That might have to do with the horses they're riding as well. Rolf Göran's Ninja La Silla is AMAZING, but I don't know much about Helena's horse Erbblume. I loved her old horse Mynta, they were a great team, especially in the World Championships 2002.
