Also Cuba, Venezuela or Nepal aren't exploiting any other country (who can exploit Cuba, when under embargo?) and their economics are relative good compared to world average. E.g. Cuban healtcare and education is free and both world-class, US healt-care and education maybe also isn't bad, but isn't free and you know more than 1/3 of people in the USA cannot afford the medi-care. The other thing is a political freedom. But in Nepal and Venezuela there are multi-party system and free press.
It is not about country-size, it's about the economic system. Capitalism looks good on the first sight but is ineffective and could work only in phase of "exponential grow" and only while exploiting other countries (and/or working class in the original country). The solution is simple: Workers of the world unite! But, wokers, be careful about stalinist-traitors! Democracy must be guarded by multiple control mechanisms during the (necessary) transition from capitalism to the socialism.

You do realize Capitalism has never existed, right? We live in the most anti-Capitalist world since the Middle Ages. So long as the government tampers with the natural laws of supply and demand just a little bit (let's say, printing money, i.e., the Fed), Capitalism is gone. I do read the newspaper. I read two different ones that are different in their political views. San Fransisco Chronicle and the Press Democrat. I don't like communism and socialism because it is a threat to democracy. It wants to take away the power of the people and give it to the government.

Both capitalism and so called "socialism" (indeed state-capitalism) are responsible for cca 200 milions to 1500 milions victims.

14 milions people are starved to death in Africa per year! Now, in 2009. Those are victims of the capitalism. As I told - capitalism look very effective on the first sight, but cannot work without massive inter- and intra-country exploitation. Capitalism is based on the exponential grow of all production. This is absurd when we live on a planet with finite surface and with finite resources.

I am not telling "capitalism is very bad, so USSR was completely OK". No, both capitalism and fake-socialism sucks. I hate this long-time debates about who killed more. It is disgusting. True socialism can be build without harming single person (just by economic reforms made by government)

There are problems in every political scheme or whatever you want to call it... a ruling I suppose. The difference between socialism and capitalism is that socialism has 1 ruler ruling everyone capitalism had many rulers, if you will, ruling many people and if one slips up the supervisor aka government can come in put them up. Not so for Com/Social.
Don't get me wrong there are massive problems with capitalism but there are bigger issues in Communism hell even China is becoming capitalist.

Well we wouldn't be talking now if it wasn't for capitalism... and there would be no real reason to push things forward or invest in R&D because there would be no competition if we did have socialism. If your going to debate an issue get real about it. Socialism as good as it sounds and as good as it's intentions does not allow the people freedoms that we have under liberalism which is the best thing going around in my opinion.

No, no,even big countries can be self-sufficient.Or better said big countries are supposed to be self-sufficient. I agree about the European imperialism - USA is a product of this imperialism. I agree about the Chinese capitalism/imperialism in Africa (But Africa is exploited by the USA and EU much more), China truly isn't socialist. Soviet Union wasn't good example of the socialism (or better said wasn't socialistic after 1924),but the scale of their exploitation was much much less than the US.

Also Cuba, Venezuela or Nepal aren't exploiting any other country (who can exploit Cuba, when under embargo?) and their economics are relative good compared to world average. E.g. Cuban healtcare and education is free and both world-class, US healt-care and education maybe also isn't bad, but isn't free and you know more than 1/3 of people in the USA cannot afford the medi-care. The other thing is a political freedom. But in Nepal and Venezuela there are multi-party system and free press.

It is not about country-size, it's about the economic system. Capitalism looks good on the first sight but is ineffective and could work only in phase of "exponential grow" and only while exploiting other countries (and/or working class in the original country). The solution is simple: Workers of the world unite! But, wokers, be careful about stalinist-traitors! Democracy must be guarded by multiple control mechanisms during the (necessary) transition from capitalism to the socialism.

the imperialism forced on people is colonization, ecomomic imperialism is different. it does not take it by force (like US is doing in Iraque), it cames with political agreements that creates an economic depending system. You do realize Capitalism has never existed, right? We live in the most anti-Capitalist world since the Middle Ages. So long as the government tampers with the natural laws of supply and demand just a little bit (let's say, printing money, i.e., the Fed), Capitalism is gone. BTW, might I add that any egoist with a brain would realize that destruction is NOT to their long term benefit (once again, we're talking about egoists with brains here), and thus, avoid the kind of destruction you speak of.

First, egoism is good. An egoist (like, me, say) invents a new product (let's say, the cure of cancer), soely because I want a profit. I sell it, and earn that profit. That is an egotisical move, but (and this isn't justification, just explanation), a bunch of people don't have cancer.
Capitalism is a system where nobody has the legal power to initiate force. In every instance in history, someone has had the legal right to do that. So, capitalism has never existed.

I do read the newspaper. I read two different ones that are different in their political views. San Fransisco Chronicle and the Press Democrat. I don't like communism and socialism because it is a threat to democracy. It wants to take away the power of the people and give it to the government.

It is not a complete democracy such as the democracy of ancient Athens, however it is the closest thing to democracy with a population of 300 million.

nowadays, everybody does that. Not the countries itself, but their companies... the State are only called if there are any "problem". Wich may be different according to your point of view...

The only problem in this world is people who think they can live happily with a shitty job.
Go 2 school, get a fucking college degree, and get a job that pays well. After that i doubt you will be whining about how evil capitalism is. In fact youll be afraid of some commies coming to take the money youve worked for, and distributing it evenly with some bozos whove never done anything meaningful with their lives.
