I used to make my beats with my pc keyboard too back when I started and a few years later lol...I made some decent stuff...

thats wut i do, i use my laptop keyboard....its only like a 25 key joint tho...might need to pick up an mpk49...has drum pad...49 keys. Thats really all you need. A midi controller, something like ableton, fruity loops, some good vsts and drumkits. Maybe a vocoder for those people wanting to put some sexy vocals on their beats.

@KalHefner you need a midi cord that plugs into the back of it. but ii dont use that to actually make the beats. it was just a guide to which keys ii needed to click in fl studio . . . but ii have an lpk25 now

@LCZ3GA its the foam stuff that people have on the walls of a studio. ii dont want it all over my wall so ii just took the one that was in the case to protect my mic & wrappd it around the mic with a rubberband to sound proof it a lil better
