But then everything's blown up after Edwards get caught which makes people think that maybe he doesnt belong living with people. At the time, there's Kim who stands up for him though she disliked him at first...

They insist Edward, whom they decieve to open the locked door of Jim's father's secret room with his scissorhands. But when they almost get caught, they all runaway and leave Edward behind, though Kim doesn't want to. Edward gets arrested or somekind, makes Kim be guilty. When he comes back, he tells that he just does it for her :)
