Hello, I am looking forward to building this model and am considering the DA50. I note that this model weighs 16 lbs. which seems quite light, can you describe the setup? Is the 16 lbs. a dry weight without fuel? Thanks, James

The engine sounds like a dirtbike and i am thinking of getting the smaller version of that plane with a wingspan of 36 in.

This was the 87" Yak, AUW (without fuel)
the current 88" Yaks are coming in roughly at 17 to 19 lbs AUW.

How do you rate the DA-50 on a tuned pipe vs without?!

On a straight pipe you get 5.0hp. On a canister or tuned pipe you get around 5.8-6.0hp.
