  • can you add mods for fallout 3 to this mod

  • Not gonna lie, your accent is fucking awesome!

  • this is really epic, a large mod,

i wish the guy who made this mod, could add a plain, that take you in Capital instead, wouldn't you agree? :D

  • Can you please make a video on how to install 05AE, You make it alot easier and I don't know how to properly install 05AE

  • I must be an idiot or something but I have tried this method multiple times and it never worked and now version 05AE is out and I can't get it to work either! I followed the directions on 05AE verbatim but when I went to activate the files there was no RFCW Main so can someone do a turorial on the new version or tell e what to do?

  • Sorry for the dual post but I figured out how to get it working the same way @GopherVids does it mainly.

What you need to do is follow the install instructues in the .5AE version till you use the extractandpatch.bat thing then take the files from the data in the zip/rar and put it in the temp or whatever folder you copy the 5 lose files into another folder and make that a FOMOD then copy the other bsa and esm/esp files into the data folder or make a FOMOD and it should be the same way it's here

  • @GophersVids Unfortunately the install order and file structure has changed in the new version so I find it hard to follow these instructions anymore. Can you help explain how to install the .5ae in the same matter as this one? As it is missing some of the things that you did in this video. Thanks!

  • can you mod the fallout 3 game within fnv? for example can you put FWE on fallout new vegas using requiem for the capital wasteland

  • I need help i cant get th eFO3 voices work i tried 4 times plz reply or PM me

  • Is this compatible with Project Nevada?

  • Lawl just remembered, I made the Image for the Requiem mod of the Ranger in DC.

  • For those interested i plan on making some mods that will add some realism to the whole travelling across the boarders. e.g. Bringing back certain items from DC to New Vegas. Perhaps a Brotherhood of Steel reunion. One idea I had was perhaps somone in megaton who wants to open a little casino like thing. obviously there isnt really any machines in DC so you go and collect parts to build some. Another idea was for Mothership zeta that allows u to travel from the spaceship at the end to NV or DC.

  • what happens if i accidentally said yes to all at 11:23?

  • @SBTM357 nvm I fixed and thank you VERY much Gopher! :)

  • HELP!

  • people in megaton, like settlers, dont talk generally :(

  • Another thing I"m noticing is that you decided to not follow the directions. By doing this you've introduced millions of bugs that you would have never encountered if you had installed this properly

  • @EmuMaster564 Really? I didn't notice anything not already known at the time. And I actually installed it following your instructions twice before coming up with my own method of installation and the file structure matched perfectly. The main difference is I could then delete my backup Data folder knowing I could uninstall with FOMM at will.

  • @GophersVids I'm not too familar with the fomod technique you used, I"m not sure if that compresses the files or makes you use the fomod file. To my understanding about my mod, any sort of compression of the loose files messed up the game a little. I am currently watching your video and I must say I am quite surprised someone took the time to make such a great review of my mod

  • @GophersVids my original reply didn't show up but from my understanding any sort of compression of the loose files always screwed up the game for me and caused me issues

  • @EmuMaster564 Ahh, dont worry. Even though the files get packed into a fomod, they are unpacked by FOMM and placed in their uncompressed format into the Data folder as loose files.

  • @GophersVids Oh then I should try that! Anyway I hope you're enjoying the mod without too many issues

  • @EmuMaster564 I loved it. Possibly one of the most impressive modding projects I have ever seen :)

  • @GophersVids Haha well I really worked hard on it during the summer. Its slowed down since this video was made but after this, I've become re inspired to keep it going. I will hopefully be uploading .5AE in 1-2 weeks or even sooner

  • @EmuMaster564 I have noticed that following your guy's directions, I had so much bugs. But Gopher's tut made it run smoothly and free flowing. But over all great mod and tut.

  • @GophersVids Very professional! I think I'm going to be a big fan of your channel!

  • Thank you for reviewing my mod. Indepth and well done, however its not as hard to install as you claim but thank you for reviewing it

  • ALSO I crash when I turn to a teen in Vault 101

  • Goodsprings crashes me, HELP! I reinstalled, I even mad SURE I installed correctly. Helpz!

  • omg i tryed this the other day and i watch some ones video who obviously doesnt know this stuff. it works it really works thanks sooooo much !!!

  • i love your videos gophers very deep acurate indepth guides and helps the fallout community as for this mod im exsited i done it wrong and broke my game but ill follow ur guide coz i trust you and if it dont work again then ill just find a program that will force the 2 games to have intercorse then ill wait for fallout 3 vegas to grow up and play the son of all games :D

  • The game has been Doubled!

  • what i'd really like to see is an automated installer that seamlessly mixes the two vanilla games (fallout ultimate edition or sthg), and then we could install all the mods for both of them. :)

  • @bamdadkhan I would love it if we could do that. Right now the problem is that nobody makes a tool to extract resources from a BSA file that doesn't require you to click a few things. At this point that is, literally, the only thing stopping us from having a one-click (well, couple-click) automated installer.

  • ''my face is not my old face''

  • @Z0mbicore * ''My face is not my own face.''

  • @TheKShow100 Who marked this is spam, that quite unfair. No it works fine on Win 7. Probably better than Vista/XP

  • @FISRTGOAT thx :)

  • Does this mod work the other way around.. i mean can you play FO3 1st and use the character on NV including FO3 weapons.

  • have they finally fixed the bug where you can't load your save games from before installing the mod?

  • @gh0strec0n141 Yes :) It is called the ESMFix or something.

  • @GophersVids

thanks! that bug was the only thing keeping me from using the mod

  • @GophersVids I think this mod is epic, since Fallout 3 was epic, and I was kinda dissapointed by Fallout New Vegas, it felt like a large DLC for Fallout 3. :D

  • I only ever played Fallout 3 with this. Proper iron sight and game balance ftw. I mean who designs a game without iron sights and lets you become a god. Almost Perfect sigh

  • Gopher i got problem. I intalled everything by your instructions, but my NVmenu wont show up. The game loads normaly, but menu options wont show up. Merge patch didnt help, i deactivated all mods, left RFCW activated, but its no good :(

  • I have a problem with the load order (i think) my game starts as normal but as when i get to the main menu, my mouse and the options do not show up, another thing is that when i CTRL+ALT+DEL out, and want to quit the game (it's the only way) the game only uses about 100.000 KB of memory when normally it's allot more.

  • I think I'll pass on this. I have my own modded install of Fallout 3 with tons of mods so I'll keep that. I have both games, they both run on the same engine and I'm happy with both separate.

  • @Browncoat1984 Yeah I hear you on that. I love running around the DC wasteland in my ranger gear etc, but its mostly for kicks. Still, there is something about shooting enclave soldiers with an anti-material rifle with explosive rounds that really appeals to me :)

  • @GophersVids I agree with you that Fallout 3 is one of those games I'll remember forever. One of the few games that hooked me from beginning to end. That, Bioshock, the original KotoR, Arkham Asylum and Arkham City (which I am currently playing the hell out of). I have not played New Vegas yet (i've had it since day one but have been waiting for the mod community to mature, and right now I'm playing other stuff. Maybe after the fall season I'll sit down and run through it.

  • @GophersVids also im gona grab some tea and relax and watch ur guide , pro commentater btw u should contact machinima no homo but u got the voice for it

  • Damn Gopher, you're awesome!

I remember the first time I played Fallout 3...Quite an expirience, and like you, I'll never forget this game. Thanks for all your videos.

  • It would be great if all the armours in Fallout 3 were Project Nevada compatible.

  • My game keeps crashing every time i enter Super Duper Mart!!!

  • How do we fix the black clouds in the wasteland?

  • @TacticalStudios Not sure, I did not notice any on mine. Have you tried installing Fellout (the fallout 3 version)?

  • @GophersVids Around 33:30 The clouds are black and sky is completely white.

  • @TacticalStudios Yeah that looks pretty horrible .... I can't remember noticing it while playing though, so either the video makes it look worse or I didn't notice because lets be honest, the vanilla FO3 lighting was horrible. You really should install Fellout (the FO3 version) literally immediately in my opinion :)

  • @GophersVids the clouds are black for the moment as its a temp fix unless you want the eclipse at 12pm lol

  • @MrKendubz09 Good to know.

  • @GophersVids Fellout will need to be adjusted to work correctly with RFCW. The basic problem is that New Vegas uses six "daytimes", while Fallout 3 uses only four. It's why things would get pitch black around noon in the early versions ("High Noon" is one of the new "daytimes"). Installing the Fallout 3 version of Fellout will have the same effect.

On the plus side, we've fixed the clouds now. No more random black cloud crap.

  • Do I hear a crying baby in the background around 30:00 ? O.o

  • @LionelsDevil Probably. My youngest was probably voicing his displeasure at something :)

  • I think its the same as the other one you posted Gopher. Maybe its just me, but I think its the same. But what ever *Shrugs*. See if anyone else has the same opinion, only then will it become a fact.

  • @TheFireGhost93 Basically this one is 60fps, and the other one was 24fps encoded (even though the footage was 60fps). And so in the other one I saw a sort of ghosting effect when the camera turned. It might be I am just too sensitive to this sort of thing, or just that I am looking for it :)

  • @GophersVids Oh I see 24FPS I didn't even notice, and yh it could be that you are looking for it. cant fault you for wanting perfection though.

  • NC tutorial man... keep up the good work

  • Thanks for the tutorial! Of course there are some bugs, but it's expected, and their just minor. What rendering program do you use?

  • @TacticalStudios Sony Vegas, but I set the encoding options incorrectly. Completely my fault.

  • @GophersVids What bitrate, I'm looking to get the same 1080p Quality as you. I play and record at 1080p anyways.

  • Also, what size of NMC's Texture Pack?

  • @TacticalStudios Now the NMC pack is something I am still trying to get a handle on. I am not 100% how using NMC for both FO3 and FNV works together. I need to check up on that before I can make a recommendation.
