  • i AM A HUICHOL ,ES MI ORGULLO

  • Good substance for the video. We need to see all of us as natives of Mother Earth.

Those whose ancestors are of these lands we call the United States and Chicanos who are more connected to the U.S. southwest of Aztlan have a special connection to each other.

We will have to overcome all the divides and unite based upon our common survival needs and humane spiritual principles. ~Che Peta

  • !!**HO**!!

  • MEXICAN AND AMERICAN INDIAN UNITY, 1OO% THUMBS UP!!!

  • think if the stupid people who paid that nut just donated 10,000 to you guys to find out how to sweat with you and learn more of the reasons and traditions of a temazcal they would be a live and you could reopen your school i was there in the 80s it was a real cool place i went with Adran Miko and rose Andersonwith a gruop of students from vacavill Ca tor indian education

  • i luv this video!!! it is very informative, especially for ppl that don't understand what has truly happened to native american indians!!! it is sooo very important for ppl to understand where they have come from!!!

  • Does anyone know how someone could retrieve transcripts from the University? Is there a contact number? Thanks in advance!

  • Why should my tax dollars fund some substandard university which uses racist chants as the backdrop for its advertising slideshow?

I laughed so hard when the University lost accreditation and saw the horrible grammar of the student protesters' signs.

  • Gee, I didn't know students needed your approval for how they wrote their protest signs.

  • does dq still exist. i have shuned christianity to follow the road of my ancestors. i would like to attend the college but i cant find information on it. i am thinking its gone.

  • yes it does still exist

  • I feel betrayed, I had the honor and priviledge of attending and graduating from DQ U. So many fine brothers and sisters who helped me grow as an individual. The instructors truely card, actually loved the students. I hope and pray that DQ will survive. Might not be as prestigeous as Haskell or some of the other Indian schools, yet for me, I loved the school.

  • Hello This is Tusali, Tutum's nephew. We came down from Cortina Ranchera and Tutum doctored. Maybe you call him Bill Wright. Hope that the school is still open. I know my Art could sure have used some infuience. I enjoyed the sweat at that time. We need more togetherness these days. Jonathan Wright

  • Too bad you did not learn something while you were here, Jonathan... Your uncle told you NEVER to use his Native name in public, but fortunately, your spelling of it does not accurately depict it.

  • My Grandfather Taught at DQU, teaching the Maidu Language. I Hope in my heart That DQ can and will be saved... WE need to take up the "war ax" like My Grandfather did to help the native americans and all...I will be one of many supporters. Thank you for sharing these videos.

  • I wish I could learn the old ways at DQU! Tribal systems of living must have been very difficult but rewarding back in days long before who I am now, but it worked for thousands of years and was family based. Rather than a faceless government at least you have people around you who love you and know details about you that a government could care less about.

Looks like dasenuff could use a little more understanding of the real situation. Native people know things which can save us all.

  • This video gets the message across good and strong, it says it all!...

One fine day the white man will begin to realize he is losing his power, in fear he will go indoors and lay down his gun and pray for forgiveness. The Great Spirit is returning and they will all surrender and shut up for good ~

With much Love and support from the gentle People of Scotland ~

  • white man? you mean the 'people' of the usa?
