I am 26 and have 3 kids all my kids listen to Sinatra, Dean, and Bennett. They love it, and i get compliments all the time cause my kids are not shaking there butt or swearing every other word. I just love this music and will always make sure my kids know what Real music is.

Orchestration and arrangement is just as important as the singer. Sinatra sang with great band leaders like Nelson Riddle, Billy May, Count Basie, and other giants.

There are times when a performer just doesn't have the talent, despite a first class orchestra behind him/her. Linda Ronstadt was a second-rate pop singer who put out an album of old standards and backed by Nelson Riddle and his orchestra. I could only stomach the Lush Life album once through because of her awful interpretation.
