  • WoW! Love that Frankenstein. I want one! The detail is wonderful. Great vid too. Keep them coming! :)

  • these really are fantastic pieces, would love one of these.this is the bride of frankenstein sculpt.they also do a version from the original film.the quality is excellent.i also particularly like the bela lugosi dracula figure, which looks amazing.thanks for posting.nice video.

  • @suttonguy Thanks for the comments, Sideshow has done some nice work with the classic line of PF's and 1:1's. I suppose Franky would look better if I got the bride to go with him, maybe one day I will.

    Cheers

  • This is a great video! Thanks for posting!

Check out my FRANKENSTEIN MUSEUM VIDEO here on YOUTUBE

  • looks way too stiff even for Frankenstein and what is wrong with the right hand.

  • It's available as a 2 part set, he reaching out touch the shoulder of the bride of Frankinstein.

  • awesome detail on the eyes..the eyelids are spot on for boris. i love the leaning forward pose to. good choice in audio track to lol. i have subbed 5/5

  • Well I'm a fan of the Specials, my era you see :-)

I might consider the Bride to go with him a bit later on, I think it looks more complete with them together.

    Cheers.

  • My era to "rude boy" lol...that would be neat to see the bride with him. hope to see the video of that. I like the silver screen frankenstein although seeing this colour one now makes me tempted to get it. shame the face was not more flesh and brown but its excellent anyways. thanks for comments i appreciate them. have great weekend.

  • what a fantastic Kev. I´m looking for one of this piece my friend.... but cant find. i would like to have one too. by the way i put you on my page too :) on list ...check out. also my wife did it too. check it out my friend :)

  • thats an awsome piece.... 5/star

all i need to know if i wanted topurchase thanx 4 upload ..great review

  • You're welcome :-)

  • very nice - boris karloff is obviously the classic frankenstein! I personally am a huge fan of Mary Shelleys Frankenstein BOTH the Book & the Movie - even though the movie strayed from the book it was still outstanding - Kenneth Branagh was a tour de force as both director & Victor & DeNiro (say no more) fantastic - so I would love to see PFs based on their characters:) but he is still great!

    nice review!

  • dude whats your display shelfs are they detolfs?

  • The cabinets are from Selquin

  • I don´t like the pose. I find it awful in itself. This figure is a complement for The Bride´s figure, it only makes sense if you have both of them. However, the pose is so unnatural in itself, I cannot understand how they made it like that. I also don´t like the head sculpt. It does not catch the Monster´s soul, especially at certain angles. At that scale, they could have pulled out a much better sculpt IMHO. The figure of the Bride, on the other hand, is far better.

  • Sólo compró esta pieza porque iba muy barato, yo podría recoger la "novia de Frankenstein" fondos de pensiones más adelante si se va para el precio justo.

    Gracias por su honesta opinión.

  • wow man, thats awsome

  • I'd been thinking about getting him for a while, glad I did now...cheers.

  • what is the name of that sing >>?

  • The song is called Ghost Town by the Specials.

The track was originally released back in 1981, it's quite a well known song here in the UK

  • do you know if their is a previous release of Frankenstein's Monster on the PF line ?

  • Yes there is an earlier version where both arms are by his side, long sold out I would imagine.

  • This is one of Sideshows early pieces, it may not be up to the same finish as say thye new Indy PF but it's still a great figure.

  • Very cool my friend!!! I just finished one Boris Karloff movie this week, this PF looks like him alot. The hands of my, what amazing job they did!

  • awesome.5/5 from me.haha cool music

    nice PF BTW looks awesome!

  • Unfortunately I'm old enough to remember when the song was first released at the begining of the 80's !!!

  • yeah i know but it was also used for the intro of shaun of the dead!

  • great video Kev. Very professional!

  • Well I'm trying :-)

It was only a 9 minute clip but my PC took 3 hours to render the file....DOH!!

It's slow working with HD files

  • wow very impressive rob

His hands are superb as is his face, they have captured

    Karloff's face perfectly.

  • The likeness I think is spot on , thanks

  • sorry not on the Son of Frankenstein, Lugosi was on Frankenstein meets The WolfMan.

  • and Bela Lugosi also played Frankenstein's Monster on the film "The Son Of Freankenstein" but he wasnt realy good.. well i think im gonna pick this up , he looks very very nice and its from an all "old" time classic film, and he makes a "diorama" thing with the Bride of Frankenstein PF.

btw : very very nice review favourited and 5 stars.

  • Cheers, glad you enjoyed it :-)
