I'll probably get minuses from people on all sides of this battle, LOL! I love cars; Euro, Japanese, whatever; if it's fast and is a sick car, chances are I know it pretty well.  I like older Chevy's better than I do Fords, BUT there ain't no sound like a Mustang being driven in anger! Even better than a Corvette in my opinion. I will say, as of late OVERALL not in performance (GOD no, lol!) Ford is OWNING Chevy.

Lol I do admit Camaros and Firebirds and transams and msot chevys sound like shit. I dont think mopar sounds any better though. Now the vettes that I have owned dont sound like shit. I love the way they sound. But I will admit Ford has #1 in sound which is why I own both vettes and stangs. Now a chevy can sound really nice but it depends on the setup you get. Its not like a stang that you just bolt on any exhaust and it will sound nice anyways.

Dude, fords sound 100X better than any chevy EVER WILL with exhaust done. You hear a nice ford, or mopar, you are like WOW that sounds MEAN, I hear a vette or camaro and it sounds like crap at idle, sounds ok at WOT near the top of the rpm band. Noway, Nohow that sounds like a vette IMO. Chevys have a cheap sound to them, best bang for the buck hp tho' (camaros), just can't stand the underwater bubbling sound, like the pipes are submerged in water.

Totally wrong because Corvettes sound nice ass hell when you put the right exhaust. Check my vettes and you will shut up. I also won mustangs and yes they sound beautiful.

i dont know what part of CA you live in, but in the SF Bay Area, i see nothing BUT stangs. and yes, stangs make a lot of noise, but thats all they are good for - they are slower in comparison to a similar priced Chevy.

...and the corsa sounds better on a GM.

i live in the East Bay, but not Richmond. Hell, i saw at least 10 GT's and a Cobra on today's commute, not to mention the parking lot. I saw maybe 3 corvettes and 2 camaros.

and i call it noise, because that is all it is. stock is pretty quiet, but i see kids with a 130 decibel exhaust setup in their GT, trying to attract attention to themselves. And the funny thing is, I have beaten a couple in a little Honda. If your going to make that much noise revving your engine at me, at least be fast
