Sterile couples are not sinning because they can't have kids. But can adopt. And as I said, people were sterile, they prayed, got delivered and now they're parents. So in a lot of cases God has made it happen for them. Getting onto marriage, kids deserve a mother and a father. Some kids live in single-parent households and that is hard enough. I should know this my mother was a single parent. Adopted kids should only go to traditional marriage homes and single parent homes-not with gay couples.

If evolution is true then homosexuality would be an extreme example of a non beneficial mutation, gays would have died out in the first generation. If you believe in evolution then you have to believe that homosexuality is a lifestyle choice or a consequence of poor nurture, you have no other choice. For your information, in the Bible it says God is the same yesterday, today and forever. In 1Corth. 6:9 it says "abusers of themselves with mankind" talks about gays and it says they will not go to heaven. He spoke against homosexuality in the old tesament, the new testament and he has something to say about it today. Bottom line is, God doesn't speak about homosexuality in the Bible. There are a handful of allusions to very specific homosexual acts, but by and large, he's silent on the subject. And, let's not forget, as evaku2 said, homosexuality didn't start appearing in translations until relatively recently (1958, in fact). You don't need to slur gays to be hateful; simply saying that God condemns them when he doesn't is hateful enough. When will Christians get that?

Hate crimes legislation has to do with intention and motivation. When the motivation is hate for a minority that changes the nature of the crime.
