I think they had it in the end. Billy was probably going to take on Tori's role as one of the Final Five. He was very anti-Cylon as well if you remember. And he never was really supposed to die when he did, it was only bc of his contract situation.
That you for your answer. OK, I was not clear, let me put it in other way. Since how long do the Cyclons have the technology to make machines that ressembles humans? The end of the first Cylon war at best? Then how could "Saul Tigh entered the fleet as a deckhand but rose through the ranks and was a CPO (Chief Petty Officer) by the time the First Cylon War broke out."? Battlestar Wiki
My best guess is that Cylons were made on Earth thousands of years ago, also evolving into humanoid form, and the final five introduced themselves as a humanoid gene within the Colonies ever since. I'd bet there's been a Tigh, Tori, Anders and Tyrol in every generation since then.
I am VERY disappointed in the « revelation » of the 4 / 5. Didn't they have a blood test to detect Cylons that the leaders of the fleet were submitted too, which would include the colonel? And when was he "substituted"? Adama, his friend for decades, wouldn't see the difference? If the 4/5 were so important, why were the Cylons firing missiles after missiles on the Galactica to destroy it when they were pursuing it at the beginning of the series? This does not seem to fit. Did I miss something?
They had the blood "test" but Balthar couldn't be bothered testing people, i.e. he found out Boomer was a Cylon and told no one. Secondly the Cylons don't know they are such so the difference wouldn't be detected. You have to remember they haven't REPLACED their counterparts they always have been their friends and counterparts. At the start of the series the Seven didn't think the FINAL FIVE were important to their goals until they all got religious. You missed something. You missed a lot!
Since Razor isn't available over here, I was kind of hoping those four were something else besides Cylons. If they were the Cylons were taking a huge risk that they would survive that long. Also some of them have fallen ill, like Sam. Col. Tigh's eye hasn't healed (as far as we know). None of got sick from the beacon's virus. But if they are an older version of Cylon, is it possible the exodus to Earth was predestined? But by what power?
STARBUCK IS A HYBRID?(ep. 3x12)Rapture-To know the face of God is to know madness. The hybrid has looked into the space between life and death, and she's seen things that we cannot conceive of. But she's been driven mad as a result. In ep. 3x17 Maelstrom- Leoben says to Kara, i'm here to prepare you to pass through the next door. To discover what hovers in the space between life and death.
Yeah, our opinions and thoughts aren't for everyone... but what do you think? Katee has recently said that she doesn't even know what's going on as of episode 6, so I guess we'll be in the dark for a while!
..And for that reason only, i think we should just keep all of them good theories to ourselves, we just have to somehow try to leave everything to the story-tellers, we have to be prepared and be surprised and amazed at the END, cuz im so frakking sure it will ROCK!!
it simply blew my MIND!!, the FRAKKIING season FINALE,i expected no less its quite simply just the best SHOW EVER MADE, period...I mean, seriously, who agrees with me?...Its like TV was invented for 1 THING only, and we GOT it, its BATTLESTAR GALACTICA!!!.
Dont take offence BSG is a good show, but yeah its a soap opera. Girl falls in love with ex lovers brother-brother falls in love with dead brothers lover-they have sex-woman after saying she loves him, marries guy2 within 5 hours-first guy then marries someone else-they then have illicit sex-both spouses find out-blah blah.
I love BSG but i think it jumped the shark a year ago. Its now just a soap opera in space. It will come back 1 more year but after that the series will thankfully RIP.
soap opera in space? I msut be confused. BSG is nothing like any sci-fi on at the moment and is excellent in every way. maybe you should compare stargate to a soap opera, thats been going for many years now with the same style of plots
Following the whole "It has happened before, it will happen again" premise, I think life in the BSG universe originated on Earth. Humans on Earth created artificial life, which rebelled, made human-like models and exiled themselves to Kobol. The cylons were able to reproduce and pass on genetic mutations just like real humans and eventually "forgot" that they were originally artificial. They founded the 12 colonies where they created artificial life and yada yada.
You guys should do a thirty minutes show!! and please, tell me you are coming back with vids even with the season hiatus! I love your comments, don't leave us hanging!

This video doesn't interest me. They just assume this totally personal idea of Kara being another 'angel'.

I think LexPhoto does have a point. However, the main focus of the series isn't these "soap opera" they just spice things up.

That's pretty much wha we think, too TP... it seems like a logical cycle, considering the initial creative decision to make Cylons look human.

I think they're going with the original series "War of the Gods" storyline with Starbuck.
