@unionofuniversalists I see that you are soul searching in respect to intimate relationships although knowing the nature of Zues/Jupiter, you will understand that as much fun as he does represent in non intimate relationships, his influence can be regarded as extremely shallow by the women in his life that try to take him seriously. I do know that you are adventurous and friendly and wish to share your experiences.  I believe a Leo or Aries rising individual would offer more compatibility.

Wow, that is pretty powerful aspects. Especially sexually, but not strictly physical sex, but more like alchemical, union of opposites, soulmates sort of thing. it's an Earth trine, so you are probably quite grounded in your love together. nothing too out there or flakey. Lot of good sexual energy. With your psyches both in virgo, i'd wager it may have taken you some time to trust each other, but once you did, you can have a very good bond there. it can continue to open with time.

She can feel the degredation as her own...it's not jealousy, it's sensiivity...you just have to choose, or suffer causing her to suffer... she just doen't want to be near it..

@sandrasynar Agreed. I've studied astrology for 30 years and it is generally accepted that an exalted planet is 'earned' after many, many lifetimes. This Jayni has the equivalent of post doctoral experience in love and her soul must know this on some level. It is neither wise nor moral to fault the teacher when the student is unprepared MosheDan, especially in such a public forum. A little knowledge is a dangerous thing in some hands. For whose edification is this? Certainly not God's.

yes yes thats true....in vedic astrology Venus is Shukran or the Guru of the Demons and is constantly in war with Demigods(whose Guru is Jupiter). Mythologies do make the understanding of planets easier, and less burdensome :P i have exalted venus in pieces(fifth hse)...what does western astrology say abt that, if u dont mind sharing

there are differing opinions of the exaltations of planets. To me, In Pisces, Venus can be a lot like unconditional love, very giving, very loving, caring. But exaltations can give people a sense of entitlement, like haughtiness and "holier than thou" - but the planet, where it is exalted, is turned up a notch. it's like the planet on cocaine or something. in the fifth house, that could be great for romance, or a great love and good ability to love children.

this is western astrology. there are similarities, language connections, but this is very archetypal, and i'll bet there are even western astrologers who wouldn't get everything i am saying here... or maybe.

Venus is a planet, she is also the goddess of Love and Beauty. In astrology, and also in alchemy, one doesn't separate between the mythology, the planet, the metals that rule the planet, the animals that rule the zodiac, etc. It's like one big soup of energy and information, and from certain angles, one gets a different perspective. Knowing about Venus' mythological characteristics (vain, beautiful, jealous, possessive mother - that sort of thing) one gets an understanding of her in the chart.
