@jmr196813 The lead singer is supporting American singer Belinda Carlisle on her Australian tour at the moment, I don't believe the band are together anymore but the lead singer Paul Gray used the band name Wa Wa Nee at the show and they have a Best Of Collection on sale at the concerts.

i lived in Aus in 88/89 and always recalled this song.....horrendously brilliantly awful.And now with the Tube of You there they are.I only heard it twice and never twigged they were god botherers.I love that the guitarist plays a Jackson fave axe of heavy metal nutters.

They were huge in the late 80's in Australia,so was milli vanilli then.. (still like the real singers,those song's on the us remix album, were good).

The last hit Wa Wa Nee had. Mind you, this is quite tame compared to some of the stuff that's in the charts these days. It's more tease and titillate than nice wholesome sex and nudity that these guys were known for.

I remember the ruder version, which showed the girl rubbing her breasts against the ornate metal work at the bed end. Rage used to play this toned down version when the song was in the Top 50 way back when. They also showed 'Can't Control Myself' unedited in the mornings. Ah, the days when they were less hung up about censorship and classification...
