The fact that the East Antartic Icesheet is lossing some ice now is nothing to worry about and in itself is proof of nothing. Try getting more data before you start to scream that the sky is falling.

Mass genocide on a global scale would prevent catastrophic damage from climate change.

The long term trend you talk about is based on climate models not on reality. Climate models have been proven to be unreliable.
