oh yeah its perfect good securety only bad thing i can find about it is it uses freaking mutch cpu. and its the worst at detecting spyware/mallware

What really gets me is how realistic some of these rogues look now. It makes me question some of the good guys just because there are quite a few and I don't know some of them. I just realized that ZAX does a good job for me so I am sticking with it. I'm used to it and it's actually kind of fun.

I would just stick with MBAM or SAS. They are free and will get the job done.

Hey mrizos. I use Kaspersky Internet Security 2009. In your opinion do you think I should switch to G-DATA or just stick with KIS? I really like KIS but I'm always looking for the best AV available. One more thing where do you get G-DATA in America I can only find the English version.

Norton and Avast conflict. They will detect quarentine files, when you move a virus from Norton quarentine to Avast! chest, none will delete.

Spyware Doctor and Kaspersky are not the only ones who can remove Qhost. I know you love them, but you have to give credit to the others. So far, avast!, bitdefender, Avira, Panda, Norton, Malware Bytes, SAS, Kaspersky, and Spyware Doctor have removed Qhost.

Good results, a good detection rate thanks to it's 2 engines. But also more false positives, and generally bad with difficult-to-remove malware(especially rootkits). BTW, what was the RAM/CPU usage when idle and when scanning?

I have tested it too. Probably more than you. Since it was BitDefender + Kaspersky and it ALWAYS had serious difficulties when dealing with rootkits.

Does using G Data slow the pc much? I imagine that using 2 engines would slow it down considerably...

It's certainly not slowing down your computer than other security software. I've been using G Data software for over a year now and I totally agree with Matt: AWESOME!

Ey you forgot Panda, Panda removed it in Normal mode, it removed EVERYTHING in normal mode :D

I have never seen an antivirus solution who removed every virus in normal mode? except Panda =)

Hey mrizos I have a question . like for instance i have malwarebytes and superantispyware on my computer and avast . but only run avast . and dont have the 2 spyware things runnin while avast is on. what would happen if say someone had avast , norton and say bit defender . But only had one running at one time. but would shut down one runnin and used another one for scan .example norton runing shutdown exit norton. click bit icon bring it up . would it cause probs still ?

Here is the rule. Only 1 realtime antivirus at a time...everything else is fine. If I were you I'd just keep MBAM and SAS as manual weekly scans.
