I really don't like when interviewers ask most of the questions about the private lives of musicians. It would've been much better if he would ask Muse more about their music and not about how they feel and what they do in their free time or what they do for fun. When are interviewers finally gonna start asking questions about the songs and albums?
Because we've heard it all before. We get more enjoyment hearing about what our favourite artists do in their personal lives, it helps us associate us with them.
You're probably right about other people but i definitely don't really care that much for the private lives of musicians. I'm always more interested in their work (music) and not in their private lives. If i had a chance to interview Muse i would ask most of the questions about their music carrier :)
Yeah man, who gives a shit about 'celebrities' and how many Ethiopian kids they have, I want to hear about the music, the inspiration, how they came up with their ideas etc. Fuck knowing about their favourite breakfast appetiser! Are our lives that sad that we need to mooch of other peoples left over charisma? Must we know what a total stranger is doing just because they are on TV or making hit songs?
