it's AMAZING, after Gerry took a pic with the fan at 1:54/1:55, you can see by his lips moving he asks the guy who took a picture "got it?"... and the very same moment someone next to the camera guy, who's video we're watching, saying the same thing... "got it...(and then something else i can't hear)"... interesting, isn't? :)

Give the guy a break. This isn't a movie premier or a publicity junket. and even though he started off being polite it was clear he wasn't happy with having a camera stuck in his face while travelling! Empathy is a wonderful gift, so try thinking how you would feel with people following you everywhere doing this!

I went to LA in July. I kept hoping to see him around town or at LAX, but it turns out that he was overseas in Switzerland. It would have been a nice birthday present to see him there. :(

This just makes me feel bad for him. I'm glad you were so respectful to him and that he was equally respectful, but I just wish-though I know it won't ever happen-that people would leave celebrities alone.

I just saw some new pix of Ger he still had long streaked blonde hair..he was at the Manchester united game..he must have just got his hair cut before he caught the flight to LAX ??? He appears to be such a nice guy :-)

@CLOGGIEUSA This is not new video, it is from several years ago. His hair is longer now all the time, the way it was when he was young. He just filmed a movie as a retired soccer player, and now is going to be doing one as an older surfer, a mentor to a famous young man, based on a true story. He has been learning to surf in Hawaii and in L.A., at Malibu. I think now he is escorted through the airport, not like this a few years ago!

@CLOGGIEUSA This was either late 2008 or early 2009. The photog commented on Brad Garrett, who had pushed a paparazzi, and the charges against Garrett were dismissed. In early 2008 (I think), Gerard had gotten so angry at a paparazzi who he felt had endangered some pedestrians by following him recklessly in a vehicle, that he hit the dude with his fist, and the idiot pap needed stitches. Gerard had to so some community service for that one...:)

When was this taken??? It can't be recent due to his short hair...unless he cut it!!! Love this...I can't believe he walks around the airport like anyone else....I always thought he chartered his own plane ....thank you for posting this!
