My wife was suppposed to have a skype interview with American Chistian Academy..on 15th street about 1 mile east of McFarland. Damaged? Still standing is our question?
I've heard there was damage there, but to what extent I do not know. I know all schools are closed today and tomorrow, and the University of Alabama has canceled classes. There will be no finals next week and we are allowed to take our grades as of yesterday as our final grade.
We are moving to Tuscaloosa soon. We are praying for all the people there.Can anyone tell me if there is any tornado damage on 15th east of McFarland? Did the tornado turn north before that?
I believe there may indeed be some damage down that way. I know it tore up 15th @ McFarland pretty bad and was moving right along or north of McFarland. Hope all is well though for you.
I was watching a live radar on my computer while filming and saw it was not coming to me via radar and in real time. I was just hoping everyone was in a safe place and praying for those affected.
Tomorrow is kickoff vs. Kent State and their players have been helping the tornado victims rebuild houses these past few days.
