That's because it is. The ZL1 is the detuned (slightly) LS9 from the ZR1.

Took me awhile to find it on the net but yes, this ZL1's 24-hour validation test indeed took place at the Milford Proving Grounds in Milford, Michigan.

My comment does not include the Corvette, Ford GT, Viper class.. That is a different class of car. The Vette, Viper, and the Ford GT to me are more Race Class cars rather than the more Common Camaros, Mustangs, Challengers. To date..this car is a beast. It's a track beast, it's a drag beast. It's just all around ready to rock and roll anywhere. The Nurburgring track test proved that. I love it and can't wait to own one! 2013 I should have my own!!!

Chevy did this test for the Z06 before it was released and they did it at the Virginia International Raceway. This track LOOKS LIKE the Milford Proving Grounds.

I love it! I normally don't add Camaro vids to my Corvette vid playlists but this is just too awesome. Well done, gents!
