I'm sure they do, but let's see what Andy Coulson gets up to. There was Bernard Ingham, and before that the appalling Joe Haines who went from being press secretary to Harold Wilson to "progress" onto being right hand man to that crook Robert Maxwell.

I think the point I'm trying to make is not that this is "juvenile" but it was something close to a conspiracy to commit criminal libel. That this comes from somebody so close to the Prime Minister and, to add insult to injury, paid for as a civil servant is what is so concerning. I hope for better from elected representatives and some journalists who are clearly far too cosy with many politicians.
