@felipecbranco2008 They happen a few times a year (aside from during hail+snow storms), but the hail is usually no bigger than marble-sized. The problem is that they tend to strike once or twice every summer when your plants are all blooming or sprouting, and it not only destroys your roof & vehicle but also your plants. Unfortunately the area directly around the University tends to be one of the areas that gets hit the worst, but as far as I know people don't generally get hurt.

I think it progressively got smaller (the hail) from about Sarcee trail east. So Stampede only had to deal with quarter sized hail :P I heard of baseball sized in Rosscarrock (just 1 km away)
