yeah was there in 1996 / close 2 times square / had a single room almost on the top floor / with neighbouring a transvestite nightclub / cheap hotel / bedbug invested & mice jip / dirty dirty place 2 stay / c 4 u'r self !!
@helpdonate1 I've seen a lot of those old motel signs. A lot of them are maintained and preserved on purpose because of their historical significance. Just as significant as the TVs that once inhabited them. At the Skylon Tower video arcade in Niagara Falls when I was 8 or 9 years old, I saw a bulk load of old TVs from a nearby hotel stacked on top of one another. All of them were exactly the same.
I stayed at Hotel in Teaneck, New Jersey, better service, and the rooms were awesome. I didn't mind the drive back as it wasn't too far and Times Square is just a place to go to, nothing big to me
Just because a hotel is near Times Square and cheap does't mean rats and cockroaches have to roam around as your room-pets. If the owner would hire a maid at every floor, or every other floor, and make sure the rooms are clean, he throws up the price with 30 bucks or so, the hotel wouldn't be named the dirtiest - and still cheap. My travel agency booked me into this hotel and wouldn't let me get out of it after reading all the reviews.... I wonder how bad it'll be when im there.
@MYVrocks91 The real estate owner that owns the deed to that place is a multi millionare and the richest Vietnamese person alive. The problem is that he's a cheapskate. When NYC was undergoing it's cleanup under Rudy Giuliani in the 1990s, a craphole called the Hotel Kenmore hall was raided and seized because of it's magnet for prostitution, crime, and drug dealing. The Hotel Kenmore Hall has since been renovated and turned into affordable housing for the disabled.
You get what you pay for. :-) This clip is no more than a gossip media. You want to pay more than a hundred dollars and to be close to Time Square of New York, and you want to be in a castle. Go to hell. :-)
Cool, if I ever move to NYC, I know where my in-laws are staying.

Look at all that neon! Looks like a time portal back to 1983. Too bad it probably hasn't been updated since then either.

You have to laugh at that Price: 130 a night which includes a full lobby(full of garbage cans) and some bed bug bites...
and that girl interviewed looks like her weave needs to get redone
