Nice job on the arrangement. Maybe humming or singing the melody after the lyrics would fill in the missing gap? Zach sings out the melody on other songs where it would normally be just instruments playing, and I think it would work out really well in this solo rendition. Hey, thanks. Aside from beginning bit most of the song is played in c minor. The beginning is more like a c major.
And yes, that is indeed a soprano ukulele. I love it to bits :3
