Darryl Hall and John Oates listed the Temptations as their greatest influence. Other groups like the Rolling Stones, Kinks, Stylistics, Beatles, Spinners, Rose Royce and even down to NKOTB, BSB, NSYNC, 98 Degrees, Westlife et al agreed on their legacy.

When Hall and Oates inducted them, they introduced them by singing "Don't Look Back" at which they were joined by the rest of the Temptations.
