  • Those rhythms are super catchy and innovative, some of it reminds me of the drum work from Matt Hayward (Band of Skulls)

  • His drummer fucking cracks me up. So good, though.

  • "Virginia" floors me every damn time.

  • @neuroticcakes I used "destroying it" ironically. lulz. awesome sn.

  • wha wha wha!?!?!? the drummer is definitely destroying it. also, i can't stop listening to "people". i'am starting to learn it and will be playing it at open mic as soon as i finish. pow! right in the kisser!

  • @adamthreefifteen LOL. If the drummer is "DESTROYING" it by adding a little bit more feel to it, then David is definitely doing more damage by playing the solos. Come on, would it hurt to just say "Yeah, well I like the album version better"?

  • You guys are nuts. That drummer is killing it

  • I agree about the drummer, its weird because he doesn't look strange on other videos. I tried to post an example but youtube won't let me.

  • Something about this drummer just angers me. Watching him play, he looks like he's never been behind a kit before. He's not messing up, it just looks strange. He looks out of place.

  • Im really glad to see David Bazan killin it on KEXP. I've been a fan for so long.

  • Such an awesome performer and musician right there.

  • this was amazing. i'm still not a fan of "people" though.

  • @himynameisjohn It's way better on the album.

  • This will get me through today's hangover.

  • brilliant

  • I might have to watch this every day.

  • We love you David, come back to Salt Lake soon!

  • yeeeeesss!!! david bazaaan!

  • Damn you David Bazan. I wish I didn't love your heartbreaking words so much..

  • This is so good, I have heard his name thrown around in my group of friends but this is the first time I've had a chance to hear him. To me, it seems like he's taken just enough style from the alternative genre of the nineties and brought it to the present with just enough charisma to pull it off.

  • David Bazzan is a fantastic man
