you've obviously never had a proper flying lesson. When you get over the threshold you bring the throttle to idle otherwise you'd end up halfway down the runway and not have enough time to slow down

Didn't seem to reduce to idle for touchdown; it was only when the plane hit the ground that the throttle was cut and reverse thrust was engaged

the landing was very nice, I notice from the video that the soundfile was a standard soundfile from flightsimulator; the aircraft may be an add-on or a download as the default 747 does not have flexing wings and the wing tip is different. the wing view is cool. also on landing the speed brakes came out right on time.
