I agree with most of what you have to say here. I think having someone to love is important, but you're absolutely SO right when it comes to how people get into unhealthy relationships and lose out on real happiness.
You want an equal partnership between 2 human beings instead of fitting that gender role stereotype that many people fall victim to. It's quite respectable in my opinion because I want the same thing. I'm tired of man of the house and house wife stereotypes. (Jetphase)
I agree with you, its overrated to be in a long term relationship. Let's be honest we all have mini relationships for whatever reason physical or emotional, but I couldn't stand living with someone.
Let alone stay with some you have now connecting with other then peer pressure or sex.
