Thank you Air Philippines for flying to Ozamiz city for 2 years. You were the 1st airline to serve Ozamiz airport. Good luck on your new route and refleeting program.
Air philippines will suspend its Ozamiz-Manila operation starting June 15, 2009. PAL wil take over to compete with Cebu Pacific Air on June 16 for direct Ozamiz-Manila flight. Both Airlines will use Airbus 319. Lets hope Airphil will return to ozamiz with newer planes.
..yea..do philippine airline buy a new plane?i was reading ryt now the humor.that PAL will buy a new plane soon..coz their plane is not much new as good..:)
that plane hit hard, slammed the runway. I'm never getting on a 737-200. I always choose the plane I ride when I travel. Don't really care about the schedule, just wanna arrive in one piece. Haha.
It's about time for Air Phils to acquire/lease newer planes. But i guess with the financial crisis we are in right now, it may take longer for this plan to push through.
We Hope that PAL supports the refleeting program of Air Philippines. naa na clang brand new Bombardier DHC-8-Q400 for Caticlan flights, hndi malabo na makabili or maka lease cla ng kahit MD-82's or A320's or Options. Karaan na gyud ang Boeing 732's nila. way back 1970's when United airlines bought it brand new. peace
Is Cebu pacific air flying to ozamiz?. Its always good to have another airline to serve ozamiz airport. the more, the merrier. A healthy competition for better services.
i heard, ozamiz-cebu flights & v.v. via PAL express will start in June 23, 2008 using either Q300 (50 seaters) or Q400 (75 seaters) planes. Air phils will retire their B737-200 planes to be replaced with Airbus or Boeing classic model.
hey guys. Ozamiz is officially spelled with a letter Z in its letter, its OZAMIZ, not OzamiS. Take a look at the official seal of the city. I read somewhere that the city is into info drive for the correct spelling of the city so as not to confuse the general public.
Air philippines was the first airline that went to ozamis so in june there is Ozamis-Cebu then in july cebu pacific will follow God bless :) deerko because my fren is a steward in Air phillipine (demonstrater)and Im glad!!!@@@@
Nalipay kaayo ko ug dako, nga naa nay flight for Ozamiz, my last flight was 1995 Feb Cebu to Ozamiz by Philippine airlines, hope Cebu Pacific will fly soon to Ozamiz! Paet kaayo if wala flight for Ozamiz, greetings from cold Germany. Hinaot dili na maclose ug usab.
before it was an agony going 2 cagayan de oro just to get on a flight for manila and at the sametime encountering usual problems of a crowded dilapedated airport like lumbia - delayed flights, long queieng in the check in counter plus the high rate of cab from the city going to the airport while in dipolog...the airport is just 5o meters awat from the highway but you are paying a damn 30 pesos for the tricycle...and f u have a car...d parking is too far from the terminal!
After 12 years, Ozamiz airport was reopened last July 2007. Air philippines have now direct flights from Ozamiz to Manila v.v. Cebu pacific air is said to offer additional flights to Ozamiz. Expect more developments at the airport in the coming months. Congrats.

@acoustician0526 there is NO problem flying -200's. They are still deemed safe in the aviation industry although they are aging planes
