  • you should make us be able to download this its amazing

  • hey Doug, you sound great and so does your new equipment. :)

but i wanted to go just a step further and give you a little constructive criticism, take it any way you like. the riff is very repetitive (but its a neat riff, don't get me wrong). even if you don't wish to use the more conventional verse/chorus(bridge) method of song-writing... perhaps you could switch it up a little and break from the annoyingly repetitive (neat) riff once in a while? :) good work.

  • @Creamella I don't mind constructive criticism at all! I agree that the chords are repetitive and would've benefited from some variety. I actually did use the traditional verse/chorus/bridge method for this song, but that probably gets a little lost because of the repetition.

The main goal of this song for me was really just an exercise in writing a song in a genre outside of my comfort zone. I was trying to write with an up-beat hopeful music style. To write a song that would make me smile.

  • I like it man. Congratulations, you earned a comment from the great QuotidianHegemony.
