A piece of trivia. Faye Dunaway was actually shy about having to do a bedroom scene with Paul Newman. So when the time came, she went over to the bed a little timidly. Newman was sitting there ready to shoot the scene, when he flicked the blankets back and had a pair of cowboy boots on. He clicked the spurs together and asked "is this kinky enough for you Faye".  The whole set erupted with laughter, including Dunaway and she enjoyed shooting it.
