Tom Udall TV Ad: "Tragedy"

Congressman Udall is demonstrating where his priorities lie. Voters need to understand what's important to him. Fighting for stricter punishment for drunk drivers is an important issue. Further, if Udall's judgement is that we should not only oppose drunk driving but actively fight it, then it's safe to say he's got good judgement. Sounds like a good man, and I hope we see him in the Senate next year.

Here is how spin works. WE'RE talking about electing someone to reprsent ourselves, and Mr. Udall stands up and says, "I'm against drunk driving and we shouldn't wait for tragedy to strike before we do what's right!" Well duhhhhh! Imagine that after thousands of deaths from drunk driving, it took this one to finally do something. Were the other deaths not bad enough? Can you imagine what kind of person it takes to actually stand there at the scene of such an accident and do this ad for himself?

Saddam Hussein had nothing to do with 9/11. He was a secular Arab nationalist, the antithesis to Bin Laden's theocratic Islam. Read a few books sweetie. You and ol' Tom their would benefit from it.
