We're all getting old whether you like it or not, and Al could very well be considered the founder, because he was the one who approached Brian about recording a song after he heard Brian and Carl performing together. Dennis had the surfing idea, so they created "Surfin".
agree with the other comment ... besides ... ALL of the surviving members of the Beach Boys are old. And Al Jardine wasn't THE founder ... he was one of five founding members, along with Brian Wilson, Mike Love, and the late Carl and Dennis Wilson.

ya, al jardine was one of the five founding members, With Mike, Brian , Dennis, Carl.
But he wasn't the THE FOUNDER. All Five of them were THE FOUNDERS!!! Nice Video.
