Both my parents were so upset when he STOLE the election in 2000. I was around 12 years old and didn't know why they were so upset and worried. Both my parents were so upset when he STOLE the election in 2000. I was around 12 years old and didn't know why they were so upset and worried. I clearly remember my mother saying "Hes the type who would take us to war in a blink of an eye." Im thinking "who cares?" hes just another President. These last 8 years ive watched him destroy this nation and damage the world and I look back and know exactly what my parents felt..its what I feel now. Terrified.

Only the Congress can declare war and it's as shame we don't hold President's accountable. That's not to say that a military action should be signed off by Capital Hill. However, when you're committing hundreds of thousands of troops, treasure, and American prestige to invade another sovereign country and remove it's leadership, then you are declaring full on war.

I think Rummy was trying to say that after 9-11 were not gonna wait for a potential threat to become an immediate threat before we act. I don't support this ideology.
