This was very simple tutorial, Have wanted to try making a bracelet with the memory wire but could not figure out how to keep the beads from falling off . These are going to be Christmas gifts Great Job.
@hairandmakeupme Yes, the loops at the end are so the beads won't fall off. There are special "end caps" for this purpose, too, but I have never worked with them.
You are AWESOME!!! So talented and I love your videos! I am a jewelry instructor and I constantly watch youtube videos because you can never learn too much! I always tell everyone that there is never only ONE way of doing something! I also feel that no one person knows everything there is to know about their craft, they can "always" learn more:) God bless and thank you for your videos:)
HELP!! I have now made 2 memory wire bracelets an both seem very big on me ? I bought 1 of someone before I started trying to make mine, an that 1 is fine, the wire I have is 55mm bracelet wire, am I doing something wrong o you think ? :o$
@eclecticdesigns I love your videos - they are very clear and easy to understand. I also love your voice! Thanks for giving me inspiration to get making some of my own jewelery :)
I had no idea that the coiled up stuff I had was memory wire! Due to your fab video, I now know what to do with it. Thank you so much! I loved your video.
@Whiskers3316 Thanks! Do you like the style of my most recent videos? I changed a little over the years and I was wondering if I could get some feedback. :)
Excellent video. You explained everything very well and you went along at a nice pace so it was easy to follow along and remember the steps. I was a little confused on the measurement part when you are determining how many times to repeat the design. Could you explain? Thanks~!
This is a great video because of its simplicity ! I am an artist who loves designing jewelry for fun and I think you are excellent! Anyone doubt how good this instruction and idea is should check out a sight called Opera Bracelets. The cost of these will blow your mind! You are my hero!! I'm making these for bridesmaids!!
just learned about memory wire today. your vudeo is very informative. thank you. i hope i can find one about making a necklace to. i saw one at a crafts fair. it was really nice,

@xalexx95 I am sorry that my video didn't please you. Do you have any suggestions as to what I should do to make my videos better? I appreciate any thoughts you might have.
@eclecticdesigns I wouldn't worry about making your videos different. Anyway you make them, someone will complain either way! You can't please everyone! The point is- Is that you took the time to put this Video here to help others! If they do not like it, they can leave it alone! You are very talented and you definitely make me want to bead! I never have done any beading but all these videos are amazing and will make me go out and buy some beading materials. LOL. Thank you!
@xalexx95 Thanks for your input! Have you checked out my latest videos? I'd love some feedback on them because I have been doing some more editing with them!
@deliight I have always ended my memory wire bracelets with a loop, but there are other ways. There are end caps available which are specifically made for terminating memory wire jewelry pieces; Google "memory wire end caps" to see what I'm talking about. Other ways include gluing a bead on each of the ends, adding a charm to the looped ends, or attaching a beaded headpin to the looped ends for a fun twist!
@susanbrown6349 I have not used memory wire end caps myself, so I can't recommend you an adhesive to use. However, I talked to a Fire Mountain employee and she says that their G-S Hypo Tube Cement works well with metal.
@susanbrown6349 16mm beads are quite large, so you may want to make the bracelet a little larger (for a three loop bracelet, cut 3-1/2 to 4 loops). Remember, use whatever size beads you have - they just need to be able to fit through the wire. :)
Fantastic. You make it look so easy, thanks.
