I really like the music typing function in the garage band because I can create my own music, whilst being able to change the octaves and adding in special effects. I also think the master effects are really convenient since it controls the whole tracks all together.

I learned a really essential function from this video: how to control not only the master volume, but the master pitch and tempo as well. This would definitely prove to be useful in composing my song, and I was really keeping an eye out for this kind of function. Another useful thing I learned is ducking.
